The Gateway Mindfulness evening classes


These classes are on Tuesday evenings and will return in Autumn 2019 for  four weeks.


Gail has been running these classes for three years, she has qualifications in mindfulness, meditation and Buddhism along with being a qualified teacher. The classes are centred around the roots and concepts of mindfulness and meditation, brief look at Buddhism, how they improve our well-being, exercise to try, embedding mindfulness into every day life, understanding symptoms of anxiety with practical solutions and looking at how our ego may be causing unnecessary pain. Each session always ends on a meditation and the price of the 4 sessions includes a copy of Gail's book "The Gateway" - A journey to re-claim your power from stress and anxiety.

The personal investment for these classes is £75 including a copy of the book. Six to eight spaces only on each course.

​​​TWO NIGHT RETREAT - September 6-8  2019 2 nights at Malham Cove , North Yorkshire

​Arrive 5pm Friday 6th September 2019 spend Saturday and Sunday with us - departing 4.30pm. Come and spend a chilled out weekend with us. Enjoy good company and healthy, homemade food. GROUP HYPNOSIS  TO AID WELL-BEING AND SELF WORTH WITH DR. NICOLA TAYLOR

Join a group of people to enjoy a hypnotherapy session aimed to improve your well-being and boost your self worth.  Hypnosis is a natural and beneficial process which feels like daydreaming or being lost in a good book.  During hypnosis it can be suggested that we will engage in behaviours that will better meet our emotional needs and help us achieve our goals. During the hypnosis session you will be seated, relaxed and fully aware of your surroundings and your actions.  No previous experience is required to able to benefit from the session. AWAKEN YOUR POTENTIAL THROUGH YOGA WORKSHOP WITH ADRIANNE NIGHTINGALE

​SUNDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 2.00-4.00PM £30 PER PERSON


Expand your awareness into the realms of possibility! The focus is finding balance between stability and fluidity; to use spiral, circular movement to build strength and using the breath to move fluidly with intuitive control through asana. A sequence designed to work with the physical body strengthening the core, opening and releasing the upper back, expanding and opening the chest, relieve neck tension, work mindfully with weak shoulders or shoulder issues (i.e. rotator cuff injury), release the hips and find stability in standing balances. As well as bringing focus to the subtle energy levels introducing the higher chakras and the Vayus. A truly wonderful practice for anyone who spends a lot of time sitting down, driving and to alleviate the regular use of phones, tablets and computers.


The workshop will offer the following:


Receive many health benefits of mudras (hand gestures), learn mantras and meditation techniques to balance the Vishuddha (throat) and Ajna Chakras, set an intention that aligns , with your current circumstances for awakening infinite possibility, not only on the mat, but your daily life, Pranayama techniques, access the 'Flow State' through Yoga on and off the mat, learn the fluid and flowing Tripsichore Circles Sun Salutations. Practice connecting vinyasa drills, focus on breath led movement through a dynamic flow, attention to alignment and biomechanics of the physical body during asana with detailed verbal alignment cues and hands on assist. Introduction of the Vayus, clearing and balancing of the Vishuddha (throat) and the Ajna (Third Eye) chakras, deep relaxation in Savasana with lavender eye pillows. Mats, blocks and straps are provided in a serene and tranquil studio space. Beginners to yoga are welcome to join if you seek a more challenging and dynamic practice, but better suited to intermediate practitioners. This workshop is limited to 10 people only, please reserve your space in advance to avoid disappointment.
